Nayak reportedly visited the society to submit the SIR enumeration form of his relative, Vinod Ganpat Prabhu, to Booth Level Officer Kishan Kumar. He alleged that he was stopped at the society entrance.

According to the complaint, the society manager allegedly stated that he was acting on the directions of the managing committee and that Nayak would not be permitted to enter the premises.
